About the Owner - Joe Weaver has been baking cookies for over 30 years. He started at a very young age, helping his mother mix cookie doughs for various family events. Joe and his wife Heather, have been making cookies for friends, family, co-workers, and potential customers for several years. In addition to the baking experience, Joe also holds an A.A. Degree in Business Management, has 5 years experience working as a Quality Control Lab Technician for Mott's in Aspers, PA, and is certified through the Rutger's University Better Process Control School for Aseptic Quality Procedures.

About the Company - Weaver's Sweet Treats (formerly Joe Weaver Enterprises, established in 2005). The company is currently a home-based business which is registered and certified with the PA Department of Agriculture. Items offered include home-made sticky buns (with and without walnuts), and an assortment of cookies including Molasses, Reecy Surprise Cookies, Chocolate Chip, Snickerdoodle Cookies, and Peanut Butter Cookies. All of the cookies are made 100% from scratch, using local ingredients. All of the cookie doughs are currently mixed by hand, and the flour is sifted by hand. Our cookies also contain Real Butter - there is no Margarine, Crisco, or other artificial flavors used in our cookies. The menu is always flexible, so if there is something specific you would like to see, just let us know and we will look into it for you!
