“From Nonni’s Kitchen” is a small bakery, founded in the spring of 2009, dedicated to providing delicious, home-baked goods that are entirely gluten-free. The recipes are family tested/tasted and made from the heart.

Gluten-free ingredients are costly and the foods made with them are expensive compared with non-gluten-free baked goods. Every effort has been made to price the baked goods so that a person who is gluten sensitive/allergic can afford them.

Baked goods made in Nonni’s Kitchen include: muffins, scones, crumpets, biscuits, quick breads, yeast breads, pizza shells, sandwich wraps, crepes, pancakes, waffles, rolls, cupcakes, cookies, and pie crusts. After much experience in baking, including attending cooking school in Italy, Nonni can create just about anything!

It should be noted that gluten-free items are light and tasty even to those people who are NOT allergic to gluten. Everyone enjoys eating them!

Gluten-free muffins and brownies are now available at The Ragged Edge Coffeehouse on Chambersburg Street. She also accepts special orders, including birthday cakes, and these orders can be picked up at The Farmers’ Market.

“From Nonni’s Kitchen” has been advertised in the May 2009 newsletter of the Gettysburg Gluten-free Group and The Gettysburg Times and will continue to be featured in the e-mails sent to the Gettysburg Gluten-Free group. Information about venues where her products are available throughout the Gettysburg area will be included in these regular communications.
