Anne Maxwell is the proprietor and a one-woman agribusinesses operator whose flowers and potted plants are beloved at the Waynesboro farmers market. She recently relocated to Gettysburg and joined up with us, in part, to be closer to home. Anne starts all her plants from seeds and grows them up with great care. She will be bringing an array of Petunias, Snapdragons, Begonias, as well as herbs and food plants, to enrich the market scenery.

Mud College Farmstead is an organic vegetable farm located between Gettysburg and Littlestown operated by Ben Mearns. The name "Mud College" comes from a nearby historical site and a later local craft guild that Peg Mearns - of many South Mountain Fair blue ribbons - worked with. Ben is constantly learning from the earth, and seeks to conserve and enrich it.

Pappardelle’s is a Denver-based business specializing in small batch pastas and a “never say no” attitude. Their pastas have been served at the Colorado Governor’s Mansion, at the White House, and even to Pope John Paul II. In 1991 Pappardelle’s began slow drying their pastas and today they source their pasta products to farmers markets all over the country. A group of Adams County entrepreneurs known as Pastabilities picked up Pappardelle’s product line and now sells at our market.

The products that Weaving Roots Farm delivers are emblematic of exciting new trends in agriculture. Tara Megos, the proprietor of Weaving Roots, was a specialist in urban farming in Baltimore, MD. She has since brought many hip farmers market trends to our dinner tables here in Adams County with an array of interesting, heirloom fruits, vegetables, and herbs.
